How do we stay grounded and hopeful in the face of the climate crisis?
Join Sarah Cronin and Clara Schroeder for an evening of mindful reflection and collective support at the SF Dharma Collective.
In this 90-minute Climate Café, we’ll turn to meditation, journaling, and dialogue to process climate emotions and cultivate connection and resilience.
This is a welcoming, non-judgmental space for anyone seeking to process climate emotions and reconnect with community and purpose.
Come as you are. No prior meditation or climate experience needed.
Space is limited to maintain intimacy and depth.
Sarah Cronin is a writer and teacher originally from the Bay Area. Sarah earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Dance and Performance Studies from UC Berkeley and completed her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of San Francisco. She is also a certified yoga instructor and enjoys teaching mindfulness and creative writing workshops. Sarah currently works as a Communications Specialist at UCSF, where she is also a campus Wellness Ambassador and proud member of the Bikes! at UCSF club.
Clara Schroeder is an ecotherapist, mindfulness teacher, and author of . She is dedicated to supporting personal and planetary well-being through nature connection. Clara holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Columbia University and certifications in coaching and ecotherapy. At UCSF, she leads overnight outdoor recreation trips that foster resilience and well-being among first responders and medical professionals. She brings evidence-based tools to help individuals reconnect with nature and build the inner resources needed for meaningful, sustained action.
