Every month on the 3rd Wednesday we gather for 90 minutes of continuous, improvised community singing! Directed by world-renowned performer David Worm, and co-facilitated by a variety of inspired improv vocalists, with opportunities for you to express yourself over the beautiful rhythms, melodies, and harmonies we co-create.
- All are welcome—a family-friendly event
- Sing or listen—no experience necessary
- Donation $15 at the door— no one turned away for lack of funds
- Free parking behind the church off Durant
- Masking and distancing are optional

HOW DOES CIRCLESINGING WORK?
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
CircleSinging is "music of the moment," lead by your hosts, David Word and Voices in a New World. Standing in the center of the community circle, the facilitator will start by pulling music out of the air. Once they've got a groove, they'll hand it off to a section of the circle to repeat, then conjure up other musical phrases for other sections, building a spontaneous, layered composition. Together, the facilitator and circle create beautiful, interlocking, rhythmic music that moves and flows between any variety of musical genres and beats, lifting the spirit and filling the room with joy.
