About this Event
Join us for Common Ground, a public event bringing together people from across the arts, sciences and humanities, as well as anyone with an interest in health and the environment, to explore how we might work together to address significant health challenges.
The event focuses on One Health, an approach that recognises the deep connections between human, animal and planetary health and takes a holistic view of healthcare.
Through short talks, demonstrations and conversation, we will explore how researchers and practitioners at University of Lancashire are responding to issues such as biodiversity loss, developing nature‑based health initiatives, and trialling targeted, person‑centred approaches to care. Over afternoon tea, we will also discuss opportunities for more collaborative, interdisciplinary approaches.
The event is free and includes refreshments.
