We are delighted to welcome Celia Gaze, founder of The Wellbeing Farm and University of Lancashire Business School Entrepreneur in Residence, as our guest speaker. Celia will be speaking on sustainability in business and why it makes commercial sense.
Celia will share how she transformed a rundown Lancashire hill farm into one of the UK’s best known sustainable events venues, and how sustainability has driven growth, resilience and commercial success. The session will focus on the practical benefits for SMEs, including stronger reputation, improved competitiveness and greater success in winning contracts and bids. Celia will also share realistic, low cost actions that smaller businesses can implement to improve sustainability and profitability.
A TEDx speaker, author and award winning entrepreneur, Celia is also the founder of the Good for Growth B Corp Fest and brings extensive experience in purpose led business.
As always, you will also hear about the latest business support available from the University. Centre members will also have the opportunity to deliver a 60 second pitch, giving you a chance to showcase your business to fellow members.
We do hope you are able to join us and 50+ SME Centre members, as we aim to pave the way for a brighter future for you and your business.
