About this Event
COME INTO BEING
Coming into Being is a day retreat held at the sacred threshold of Imbolc — guiding you gently from winter’s inward listening into the first light of embodied vision, so what is ready to be born in you can take root, grow, and move forward with integrity.
Rooted in seasonal wisdom and embodied healing practices, this Women's Circle Day Retreat invites you to journey gently from darkness into light, from winter’s deep listening into the first stirrings of rebirth.
Through somatics, ceremonial cacao, shamanic drumming, yin yoga, sound healing and Reiki, we gather in circle to listen to what is already alive within and to honour what is quietly brewing, ripening, and preparing to emerge.
This is a day to soften, sense, and come into being together as women.
The Wisdom of Imbolc
The 1st of February marks Imbolc, an ancient Celtic festival honouring the return of light and the subtle awakening of life beneath the surface of the earth.
Imbolc sits at the threshold between seasons — no longer the depth of winter, not yet spring. It is a time of quickening, when the body, the land, and the inner world begin to stir.
In seasonal and elemental wisdom, we move from the Yin Water energy of winter — rest, gestation, inner listening — towards the rising Wood energy of spring — vision, direction, and growth.
This women’s circle day retreat is an invitation to meet that threshold consciously, allowing what has been resting and brewing within to be felt, named, and gently nourished.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Throughout the day, you will be guided through a flowing sequence of practices designed to support this seasonal transition:
- Opening women’s circle and intention setting
- Somatic exploration and body listening
- Ceremonial cacao and shamanic drumming journey
- Journaling, reflection and nourishing snacks
- Slow yin yoga to support integration and energy flow
- Sound healing and Reiki for deep rest and alignment
- Closing sharing circle and integration
