Combating Antimicrobial Stewardship Resistance with Stewardship: A One Health Approach
In honor of Antibiotic Awareness Week, the Disease Control Bureau at the Chicago Department of Public Health is excited to host an Antimicrobial Stewardship Conference: “Combating Antimicrobial Resistance with Stewardship: A One Health Approach.”
This conference is a free one-day advanced continuing education program for Chicago healthcare providers (physicians, veterinarians, pharmacists, nurses, infection preventionists, and administrators) who want to improve their antimicrobial stewardship programs or learn how they can get started with stewardship. Attendees across a spectrum of settings will learn how to maximize their organization’s capacity to take actionable steps and combat the problem of antimicrobial resistance.
