Coloring Outside the Lines: Perspectives on Ethics

Attendees will:

• Learn how to properly use the code of ethics in relation to cultural sensitivity
• Learn how their personal & professional perspective influences how they manage ethical dilemmas
• Gain insight into person biases that could impact clients
• Learn strategies for determining when/if they should color outside the lines while incorporating ethical considerations in cultural dilemmas
• Learn strategies for practicing self care when faced with challenging ethical dilemmas
• Discuss confidentiality exceptions, documentation, boundary issues and other complex topics.
