About this Event
This 4-hour course provides law enforcement agencies and correctional personnel with information on J*il operations, including classification, California Code of Regulations Title 15, and Perkins Operations. Students also learn to identify potential liability, de-escalation techniques, and updated information on suicide prevention. Students participate in scenario-based learning exercises that prepare them for what could happen within a correctional facility. Please note that this class DOES NOT replace the California State mandated Temporary Holding Cell class; it is designed to enhance student knowledge and provide additional information regarding safe operations inside correctional facilities.
