About this Event
a workshop hosted by GREAT’s Water Resilience Team and Academy of Natural Sciences’ Science Shop program - for residents of Germantown to build power and be more organized with their neighbors
In this workshop we will:
- Share reflections on past water and flood disruptions- experienced locally or through the media
- Discuss gaps in the system and ways that neighbors and communities can fill in those gaps and create their own solutions
- Think about this in the context of our own blocks, buildings, gardens, and other shared spaces in Germantown
Saturday, May 16th 1-3pm at the Weavers Way Germantown Office: 326B W. Chelten Ave.
We are also giving out copies of our brand new Water & Flood Resilience Toolkit!
& everyone who attends will be entered into a raffle to win supplies that can help you prepare for a water disruption or emergency.
We request your RSVPs by May 10th so that we can plan for snacks, refreshments, printing, and setup...
