About this Event
Since 1978, the Fort Dupont Ice Hockey Club has trained young people in Ward 7 to skate and play hockey. The oldest minority hockey program on the continent, the club’s DC Cannons have won multiple Purple Pucks over the years. Players credit founder and leader Coach Neal Henderson for their success. Join us for a screening of the film Brothers on Ice, which documents a season in the life of the Cannons, followed by a conversation with Coach Neal Henderson. Fort Dupont Ice Hockey memorabilia will be on view.
