About this Event

For anyone working from home in Dalston, this one’s for you. We’re partnering with The Black Eel on Kingsland High Street to bring you a cosy warm co-working space from 12pm-5pm on Thursday 15th January. Oh, and money off drinks all day!

The Black Eel has revived the iconic Grade II-listed Cooke’s Pie & Mash Shop and created a welcoming, old school pub central to Dalston. Through the original doors you will not only find the main bar serving cold pints and delicious food from Rileys, but also a private karaoke room, darts, shuffleboard, and pétanque! Not to mention the sprawling beer garden ready for those warm summer afternoons.

Our co-working group will get an exclusive 10% discount on any drinks from 12pm-5pm, and Rileys menu will be available to order from so you can combine a delicious lunch with meeting new people working from home in Dalston.

All bottled wine will also be 25% off from 5pm, so you will be in perfect position to carry on into a Thirsty Thursday if you fancied it!

Your Co-Working Ticket Gets You:
✨ A co-working group of people working from home, building businesses and freelancing in the local area
✨ An exclusive 10% off all drinks from 12pm - 5pm
✨ Relaxed, friendly vibes, zero pressure
✨ There’s also 25% off bottled wine from 5pm if you wanted to keep the good vibes going into the evening!

What is Remotely Social?

Remotely Social is a London-based social club for remote workers, freelancers, and startup founders.

Our mission is to bring back the social side of working, which made work fun and built real friendships. With so many people WFH, we have lost the spontaneous after work pint, the mid morning rant and the chance meeting of your future business partner.

We host regular events at local venues where you can socialise, network, and make friends away from your laptop. From after-WFH drinks and coffee mornings to yoga sessions and festive parties, our events are designed for people who actually want to attend, with people they actually want to meet.
