About this Event

This conference will look at how trauma effects people into adulthood often resulting in substance use, impacting negatively on mental health and physical wellbeing.

Begin to understand housing pathways and why the number of people sleeping rough are increasing.

Recognising stigma and trauma, and how they impact people’s ability to meaningfully engage with health services.

We aim to help people understand the importance of people with lived experience working alongside health and social care teams to develop services and improve engagement.

Understand the importance of safeguarding when working with people experiencing homelessness.

Please arrive for registration and coffee at 8.30. Lunch will be provided but there are many local shops and cafes available.
