Have you ever wanted to build your own guitar pedal? Now you can - under the guidance of Alchemy Audio!This DIY class will walk you through the steps for building a pedal from scratch. All materials and tools will be provided for use. You'll leave the class with a fully functional stompbox you built yourself! No previous experience required. We'll discuss proper soldering technique, common parts and tools and analyze the circuit to be assembled. Choose between a simple fuzz or boost circuit.
The class will be in South Minneapolis. Your host, Johnny Balmer from Alchemy Audio, has modified, built and repaired gear for some of the biggest artists in the business - including Counting Crows, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, Wilco, Joe Walsh and Smashing Pumpkins.
