CityTalk: Celebrating Veterans Month, presented by DCAS

In celebration of Veterans Month 2025 and this year’s national theme, Service to Our Nation, the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services invites you to join our CityTalk panel discussion, The Spirit of Service: Building a Better New York Together. This inspiring panel brings together veterans and colleagues from across City government who exemplify leadership, resilience, and a shared commitment to public service..

Attendees will hear how these dedicated professionals continue to make an impact—whether through their military backgrounds, their current agency roles, or their advocacy for fellow veterans. The discussion will explore how service takes many forms and how collaboration across City agencies ensures that those who have served our nation are supported, valued, and empowered.

This event is open to all and designed to inspire jobseekers, students, and current City employees to see how the values of service, leadership, and dedication translate into meaningful careers in public service.
