What if our deepest desire for our spirits made space for the God(s) in each of us, the entirety of our being - light and dark, good and evil, whole and part.
Many of us were raised going to Church. Historically, living a life outside of hetero-normativity and being religious were often at odds. The Queers, the Sex Workers, the Addicts, the Sinners - many of us have been told that to be accepted we must repent.
At the Church of Saint Substance, we believe in a spiritual practice that honors and exalts the ways we live our own truths. We reject the idea that we are imputed with wrongness, and seek all the riches of collective liberation and radical acceptance for saints and sinners alike. We are always saying “now more than ever” but maybe it’s true - maybe now more than ever, we need our own divine intervention.
