An interactive workshop for women ready to reclaim capacity, release what no longer fits, and practice the language of saying no.
About this Event

You are not imagining it. This season is heavy.

For women navigating life and work in the digital economy, everything can feel like it is landing at once — careers that need strategy, families that need presence, personal goals that need attention, and a calendar that somehow keeps expanding.

The result? Less capacity. Less clarity. Less room to breathe.

In this interactive workshop, leadership strategist and Brilliant Balance founder Cherylanne Skolnicki will introduce the framework she uses to help professional women understand why this season feels so demanding — and what to actually do about it.

Together, we’ll explore the Complexity Curve, take a closer look at the reserves most likely to run low, and practice one of the most underused leadership skills: saying no and letting go.

Through teaching, reflection, and table exercises, you’ll leave with a concrete shortlist of what to release, plus the words and structure to actually let it go.

What You’ll Walk Away With

By the end of this workshop, participants will have:

- An understanding of the Complexity Curve and why midlife often feels like the most demanding chapter — not because you’re doing it wrong, but because of how the math actually works.

- A diagnostic of the Four Reserves — time, energy, headspace, and emotional bandwidth — and a clearer view of which reserves are most depleted right now.

- A practical framework for identifying what does not belong on your plate, even when everything feels essential.

- A better understanding of the two pathways for getting things off your plate: saying no completely, and delegating or outsourcing.

- An honest look at the emotional resistance that keeps capable women holding on to too much.

- A short, specific action list of what to release in the next two weeks — with the language to help you follow through.
