Chuck Mead live at Hernando’s HideawayTuesday, April 7 – 7:30PM
Country music with a rock ’n’ roll heart.
Chuck Mead, co-founder of the legendary alt-country band BR5-49, brings his unmistakable voice and deep roots sound to Hernando’s Hideaway for a special night of authentic American country music.
For over 25 years, Mead has been a driving force in the Americana and neo-traditional country movement. From Grammy nominations with BR5-49 to more than 130 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, his career has helped reconnect modern audiences with the raw spirit of classic country and rockabilly.
Beyond the stage, Mead has worked as a songwriter, producer, and music director, helping shape projects like the Broadway hit Million Dollar Quartet and the CMT series Sun Records. His solo work, including the album Close To Home recorded at Sam Phillips Recording Studio, continues that legacy of real-deal country music.
Expect twang, stories, and the kind of country music that connects Nashville, Memphis, and the honky-tonks in between.
