PRAYER IS A CONSTANT====================
*THE CHRISTOCENTRIC MEAL*
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
*Jesus instructed his disciples to pray always.*
The Epistles also give instructions about prayer.
Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; *continuing instant* in prayer;
The phrase "continuing instant" means to be constantly diligent.
Thus the believer must be diligent with prayer.
Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Paul said to pray always, making known your desires and requests to the Lord.
Colossians 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
Prayer should be the lifestyle of the believer, it should be daily because it’s a necessity. Jesus had this lifestyle and his disciples followed after the same lifestyle, even after his resurrection and ascension.
Acts 1:12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
Vs 13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
Vs 14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Prayer became their lifestyle, it is a constant, there is no point where prayer becomes invalid.
Acts 3:1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Acts 6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
*CONFESSIONS:*
Prayer is my lifestyle
I give myself continually to prayer, making my request known unto the father.
*Hallelujah!!*
