Adding serious firepower to the night, special guests Rex Peoples & XFactr bring their high-energy R&B, Soul, and Blues to the mix.

Chris K's GOATZ
Based in Grand Junction, GOATZ! is a Coloamericana project led by veteran Colorado radio personality, and Colorado Playlist producer and host Chris K, a third-generation musician who’s performed at top NoCO and Western Slope venues supporting Guy Clark, Jim Lauderdale, Blackhawk, and more.
Born January 18, 1955 into a musical family — his father a professional musician and his grandfather "Bunny" a Tin Pan Alley–era multi-instrumentalist — Chris was deejaying Connecticut basement parties by 1969 and performing from an early age. After sharpening his skills during Air Force years, he attended broadcast school in Denver in 1976 and landed his first radio job in Roswell, NM in 1978, soon moving to Greeley where he worked at KAFM/KFKZ and KUAD while serving as house DJ at Theo's. Following band work in Los Angeles and New England, he returned to Colorado radio in 1987, building a career spanning KUAD, KSQI, KCSU, KIMN, KGLL, KJAC, and beyond.

Rex is the 7x winner of best blues vocalist in Colorado. Rex was the International Blues Competition Winner for the State of Colorado. His original album called Fried Food, Hard Liquor was a top 3 Blues album for 12 months running. Come join the celebration!!!
