Choral Scholars' annual festive concert - A Choral Celebration of Christmas - returns to Newman University Church on 3-5 December. This is an opportunity to hear the new group of scholar-singers 2024-2025 in their first performance of the academic year. The programme will include music by Benjamin Britten, Francis Poulenc, and Andrej Makor, as well as Laura Sheils setting of Magnum nomen Domini Emmanuel, which was composed for Choral Scholars in 2023.
With a €10 supplement you can join us for a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie prior to the concert, next door in the Museum of Literature Ireland from 7pm.
The concert on Wednesday 4th December has been sold out to UCD.
