Phoenix Choir The London Phoenix Choir, formed in 2022 from the ashes of the ENO Community Choir, as an independent, not-for profit organisation, funded by members’ subscriptions.We welcome everybody, whatever their singing background, to experience the joy of communal singing. Our choir has a varied repertoire, there’s no audition and you don’t need to read music.We have performed at the Brandeburg Festival along side sister choirs; Thames Opera Chorus and Clerkenwell Community Choir.We maintain our links with the ENO through their Engage Programme which provides us access to dress rehearsals and workshop activities.We rehearse at Rudolf Steiner House, near Baker Street station, and meet on Thursday evenings from 7-9. We welcome new members and hold free taster sessions each term.
Rock Choir
The Pop-Up Choir is a South-London 25-piece acapella choir singing
high-energy contemporary classics as you've never heard them before. We’ve
performed at: Royal Festival Hall, the Ritzy, Peckham Levels, Mercato
Mayfair, The Department Store - as well as weddings, parties and festivals.
We are delighted to be led by Musical Director Emily Myles.
West End Musical Choir is the UK's leading adult musical theatre choir conducted by Musical Directors from the West End & Broadway! As seen on BBC New Year's Eve broadcast, Disneyland Paris, St Paul's Cathedral, RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court Palace & so many more iconic stages. Come watch the Choir perform well loved musical theatre tunes!
The Blend Choir. The first Blend Choir was set up in January 2013 to give local singers a place to go to sing, socialise and have fun. There are now six Blend Choirs and over 200 members.The choirs have enjoyed performing at various events including The Olivier Awards, West End Live, Disneyland Paris, The Ideal Home Show, Bicester Village, The London A Cappella Festival & Choir Blast. Each year, the choirs also come together to perform their own summer & Christmas concerts.They cover a whole range of musical styles from Musical Theatre & Disney to Motown & Pop/Rock favourites.The choir actively raise money for so many amazing charities including Lymphoma Action, Alzheimer's Society, Brain Tumour Charity, Child Bereavement UK, Local food banks and many more.To find out more, please visit www.theblendchoir.co.uk or on social media @theblendchoir
Some Voices, the most exciting non-audition pop choir, started in 2010 in London and has grown to over 2,000 members meeting in multiple cities across the UK and Europe! Some Voices has a signature style of original arrangements of popular songs, ranging from Bowie to Bjork, from Stevie Wonder to Stevie Nicks, from Folk to Hip Hop, and everything in between - all with a Some Voices twist. Our choir welcomes all adults over 18 to join us - there are no auditions, no need to read music and no prior experience required - just a love for music and singing!
This free concert is in aid of Central London Samaritans, if you would like to donate to this vital cause, there will be a retiring collection on the door.
