About this Event
On the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year when light is at its fullest and nature's energy is at its peak, we'll be spending the day in the forest. Join us.
Forest Bathing comes from the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, developed in the 1980s as a response to rising urban stress. But it's something cultures around the world have always known. Time in nature is one of the most effective ways to bring the body and mind back into balance. Trees release compounds your body absorbs within minutes, lowering cortisol, calming the nervous system and restoring the kind of focus and clarity that gets depleted by modern life. Across Japan, Scandinavia, Korea and the UK, doctors now prescribe it as evidence-based restoration.
We start at the studio with a ceremonial opening honouring the solstice and the element of fire. We'll explore the seasonal intelligence of this moment. What summer's energy invites us to celebrate, release and carry forward. From there we take public transport together to Epping Forest for two hours of guided sensory immersion. A gentle Breathwork session to celebrate the Summer Solstice, our connection to ourselves and nature. We close with a tea ceremony under the canopy.

About your guide
Ezgi Erdal is a certified Forest Bathing guide and the founder of Synarchy, bringing nature's intelligence into how we lead and live.
Her path began in the corporate world, fifteen years with global organisations, before she followed a deeper pull all the way to the Amazon rainforest, where she spent four months living with an Indigenous community whose relationship with the natural world is a way of being. That time, and her ongoing reciprocal relationship with indigenous elders and their teachings, is the foundation of everything she brings to this work.
In the forest, she has found what she now helps others find: that the path back to yourself leads through something much larger than self.
