Chocolate truffle making masterclass with Edd Kimber for young adults

This Good Friday, we’re inviting young adults to join us in the Food & Drink Studio for a hands-on Chocolate Truffle Masterclass led by Edd Kimber – baker, author, and winner of the very first series of The Great British Bake Off. Known for his friendly teaching style and chocolate expertise, Edd has spent over a decade guiding bakers of all ages into the delicious world of patisserie.

As part of this exclusive session, Edd will introduce participants to the foundations of chocolate – the kind that can so easily be overlooked at a time of year when chocolate is eaten mindlessly. Drawing on his new book, Chocolate Baking, attendees will discover where chocolate really comes from, and how it’s grown; the differences between chocolate types and percentages; how to temper chocolate properly; how to create a silky-smooth ganache; And finally, how to roll, dip and decorate their own luxurious truffles filled with homemade caramel.

By the end of the class, each participant will leave not only with broadened knowledge and a deeper appreciation of chocolate, but also with a beautifully packaged box of handmade truffles to take home. Whether they decide to share them with anyone… well, that part is entirely optional.
