Chinedu Unaka is a Los Angeles-based comedian, actor, and writer. He’s been featured on DON’T TELL COMEDY, COMEDY CENTRAL PRESENTS, and THE ARSENIO HALL SHOW (NETFLIX IS A JOKE), and guest starred in films like HOUSE PARTY and TV shows like ABBOTT ELEMENTARY and INSECURE. Chinedu’s debut half-hour comedy special, LOL LIVE WITH CHINEDU UNAKA, recently premiered on HULU to rave reviews and was selected as one of the BEST COMEDY SPECIALS by the LOS ANGELES TIMES. His comedy album MOSTLY KIDDING debuted at #1 on iTUNES, and he co-hosts the award-winning podcast NOSY NEIGHBORS. Chinedu was recognized as “A Comic to Watch” by TIMEOUT LA. A crowd favorite for his smooth delivery and engaging style, he tours globally bringing laughter to multiple cities annually.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Chinedu started stand-up comedy while attending the University of California Santa Barbara, later earning a Master’s in Education from Loyola Marymount University, and worked as a public school mild-to-moderate special education teacher.
