Experiences by Elle-Events Management with Rennet & Rind
Indulge in an evening dedicated to craftsmanship, flavour, and the art of cheese. In partnership with award‑winning affineurs Rennet & Rind, Elle‑Events invites you to a guided tasting experience celebrating some of the finest British and European cheeses, all within the elegant surroundings of The Hobson, one of Cambridge’s most stylish boutique hotels.
Guests will enjoy a curated flight of five exceptional cheeses, each introduced by a specialist cheesemonger. Expect stories of provenance, technique, and terroir, along with a “Meet the Maker” moment.
Your experience begins with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, generously provided by The Hobson, before settling into an intimate, atmospheric tasting space designed to bring each cheese to life. With a team of specialists on hand, including a cheesemonger, and dedicated service staff, you’ll be guided through flavour, texture, and pairing notes in a relaxed, welcoming environment with smooth tones of Jazz in the background.
This event forms part of Cambridge BID’s Food and Drink Week (9–17 May 2026), a celebration of the city’s independent hospitality scene. By joining us, you’re supporting the artisans, makers, and local businesses who keep Cambridge’s food culture vibrant and innovative.
Secure your tickets now for £45 + booking fee per person. Limited spaces available! Additional drinks to be purchased on the night at the event.
Filming and photography will take place during this event.
