It will go through the process, steps involved and key considerations when it comes to your decontamination procedure. It will also touch upon which method is best practice when it comes to decontamination. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 1. Define decontamination and its role in infection control.

We will discuss practical approaches to integrating the Charter, ensuring it becomes more than words on a wall, and applying it as a practical step towards building safer perioperative teams.
