In a tropical-punk retrofuturist universe, Babel is a legendary nightclub that doubles as purgatory. There reigns La Flaca—a sensual and lethal Grim Reaper—who gambles years of life with the souls daring enough to challenge her. Over the course of a single night, destinies collide: Uma fights to save her daughter, the poet Monet refuses to die, and Jacob navigates a double life between imposed faith and his drag desire. Outside, Cali burns with neon, music, and excess. Callegüeso and his band threaten to set the stage on fire… if they can make it out of the underworld alive.
