ABOUT THE BOOK
playing cello for a dead bird is a poetry collection shaped by the restless, everyday music of motherhood, neurodiversity, and memory. Poems move through kitchens and hospital corridors, across city streets and lake shores, gathering glints of family history, Yiddish phrases, and the small rituals that tether us to each other. Published by Turret House Press, 2025.
