About this Event
Goldsmiths Special Collections and Archives hold a large number of musical collections, including the Daphne Oram, MacColl and Seeger, and Women's Revolutions Per Minute collections.
Many of these musical collections are also political in nature, whether that be socialist, communist, anarchist or feminist. This session is a chance to see songbooks, musical scores, flyers, vinyl records and other archive material, including a songbook to fundraise for Spanish Civil War refugees, records by the 1970s German feminist music group the Flying Lesbians, and socialist songbooks like Chants of Labour and The New Left Song Book.
Drop in any time between 1 and 3pm for this informal session.
