About this Event
Join the Morley Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Charles Peebles, for an evening of Classical elegance and Romantic energy. The concert opens with Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major, K. 488, a work of luminous beauty and emotional depth, performed by pianist Maria Canyigueral. The programme concludes with Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 1 in C minor, Op. 11, a youthful yet powerful work that combines Classical clarity with the composer’s distinctive Romantic voice. An engaging concert showcasing two masterpieces of the orchestral repertoire.
