About this Event
In this 2.5 hour workshop, we will build a custom incense holder or candle holder using stoneware clay. This class is open to all levels of experience, including beginners!
The bulk of the workshop will be focused on hand-building forms, using slab-rolling techniques and shape language to build up our clay into a functional object. A demo will be provided at the beginning of the workshop and guidance will be provided throughout.
With our remaining time we will have the option to glaze/paint custom designs on our greenware (semi-hardened clay).
Each piece will then be taken to a ceramic studio to be bisque fired, and dipped in a clear top coat of glaze and then fired once more.
Final works will be available for pickup at Loohoo within 3-4 weeks.
