About this Event
We invite you to the launch of the Centre for Media Futures (CMF) at the University of Leicester.
The Centre for Media Futures is a new interdisciplinary research centre dedicated to understanding how digital media, platforms, and emerging technologies are reshaping culture, communication, and society. Drawing on Leicester's long tradition in media and communication research, rooted in the pioneering work of the Centre for Mass Communication Research, founded in 1966, the CMF looks forward to new questions about media futures: algorithmic culture, digital labour, AI and creative practice, and the sensorial dimensions of platform life.
