Celebrate Earth Day at Trout Lake Community Center!

Trout Lake Community Center is hosting its 5th annual Earth Day celebration on April 26, 2026, from 11am-2pm, featuring:

• Drumming Circle at Indigenous Medicine Wheel Garden
• Nylon Zoo environmental puppet show and kids parade with a large inflatable salmon
• Hands-on family cooking workshop
• Creative stamps / Block print (bring something old to upcycle into something unique – light-colored fabric works the best)
• KIDS on Wheels
• Seed potting / seed balls / seed library
• Zero Waste collections (batteries, electronics, plastic, styrofoam, etc.)
• Bike repair
• Mend and learn (bring your loved clothing, plushy and socks, and learn to repair)
• Electric bike and electric vehicle display
• And more arts and crafts, interactive games, information booths
