Cat Rose is a rising star, folk, indie singer - songwriter and she's back with a band! Last time Cat played a sell out show at the B Bar! Started out with Barbican Theatre Rebels programme and funded by Youth Music, the rest of her debut EP WASTE LAND was released this year with many features on BBC Introducing! Cat Roseβs debut EP Waste Land is an atmospheric listen that takes you on a journey through chapters of a story of darkness, isolation, whimsy and magic. With ethereal tones, Catβs voice has been compared to having βtones of Laura Marlingβ - Listen with Monger striking perceptions and haunting melodies, dare to get lost in this world! Tom Williams a BBC Intro host said "Cat is a Brilliantly talented songwriter - she has an Interesting insight, and is a very funny creative person, it comes across in her music.β as Cat explores themes such as mental health, neurodiversity and being working class.
Cat has also been featured on Sofar sounds, came runner up in the South West heat of the UK Unsigned singer-songwriter competition, she was in the final three for Plymouth Laureate of words 2020 and has managed to build an audience of almost 2,000 listeners on Spotify from all over the world, with her hit song βSeagullsβ racking up over 30,000 listens! Cat has a full band showcase on the 24th October at B bar, The Barbican Theatre, featuring local legends and emerging artists.
