About this Event
Come sing with Casual Choir in Dublin's iconic Whelan's of Wexford Street. One song rehearsed and recorded in one session - no auditions, no commitment, no sheet music!
Established in 2018 by MD Róisín Savage, Casual Choir was born out of a demand for a more informal choir. A pop-up choir that doesn’t require any experience whatsoever. Just a savage singing session with a few harmonies thrown in...it’s as casual as that!
Lyric sheets will be distributed to all participants and a choral arrangement of a popular song will be taught to the audience, our choir by ear. Pop, rock, r&b, soul, cheese... you got it! We'll film the results and post the video on our social media pages. Please note that this is a participatory event for adults only so if you're buying a ticket, be prepared to sing your hearts out!
This is a general admission ticket so it's standing only. There are no seats for this event. Doors are at 19:00 - event starts at 20:00 sharp!
