About this Event
An in-person dissemination day has been planned for Tuesday, December 3rd from 9am-1pm to disseminate the results and findings from the 3-year SEAI-funded FabTrads project (Grant Agreement RDD729). The FabTrads project is led by University College Dublin.
The content of these talks will be technical in nature and the event is therefore geared toward practitioners and policymakers. Topics will include the results and analysis of 35 short and long-term in-situ U-value tests across a variety of traditional Irish masonry walls, analysis of the hygrothermal properties of traditional Irish stones, bricks, concretes and mortars tested in the bespoke FabTrads laboratory at UCD and the development a new FabTrads traditional Irish masonry and mortar dataset in WUFI Pro.
Further to this event, results will be disseminated through peer-reviewed and publicly available publications, as well as hygrothermal datasheets for lab-tested materials and a new FabTrads WUFI dataset.
The event will be in-person only and will take place at the Irish Georgian Society at 58 South William Street, Dublin, D02 X751.
