Sharon Yung, a Brooklyn-based, classically trained violinist, brings over 35 years of experience to the stage. Her performances are known for their rich tone, emotional depth, and virtuosic brilliance—taking listeners on a truly immersive musical journey. Sharon’s distinguished training spans Hong Kong, Cincinnati, and New York, under the mentorship of world-renowned musicians including Igor Ozim, Kurt Sassmannshaus, Masao Kawasaki, Mela Tenenbaum, Itzhak Perlman, and Dmitry Berlinsky.

Sharon Yung, a classically trained violinist, is currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Sharon's violin performance evokes an expansive range of imaginations and tone colors, as well as captivating virtuosities. Her performance will take you on a musical journey.
Sharon has been playing the violin for over 35 years and received her early musical education in Hong Kong, Cincinnati,OH, as well as in New York. She was under the mentorship of world renowned musicians such as, Igor Ozim, Kurt Sassmanshaus, Masao Kawasaki, Mela Tenenbaum, Itzark Perlman, and Dmitry Berlinsky.
Sharon has started the Violin Studio with Sharon in 2020 and frequently performs the Live Concert From My Living Room Series!
