About this Event
About this event
This advanced course is designed for adult cyclists who have some experience and want to increase their abilities and their knowledge of how to ride effectively through all forms of infrastructure. Bike lanes and boulevards are nice, but it is a big world out there, so let’s get the skills to commute or explore all of it.
This is also the standard course for adult cyclists taking leadership roles within their communities. Police, teachers, tour leaders, recreational workers and others are all being taught this course to learn and practice safe and effective cycling.
An online learning requirement must be completed ahead of time and presented to the instructor.
The course runs Saturday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. On Sunday, have a brunch and be ready to go from 12:00 PM until 4:30 PM. We’ll meet in the parking at….you guessed it, the bike racks! Yes, bring a good lock for your ride-ready bike. Lunch is a quick 30 minutes (with bonus material), so please pack snacks and a meal accordingly. More details will be supplied as the course approaches.
