About this Event
Artificial intelligence is often portrayed either as an environmental and social risk or as a key tool for advancing sustainability goals. But can it truly deliver environmental and social benefits without creating new harms? Who really benefits and who bears the risks? This interactive workshop invites participants to explore these questions through a series of scenarios. Working in small groups, participants will examine the opportunities and trade-offs involved, focusing on three key themes: data protection and privacy, energy poverty, and the environmental intensity of AI, including water usage.
