On Monday 2nd March going to be a special magical edition of Tennent’s Laughter Lounge as we’ve booked the fantastic comedian-magician CHRIS DINWOODIE to headline. The evening will also feature Maria McAveety and a strong selection of exciting new acts, all fronted by our resident compere Paddy Linton. And with free entry and pints for as low as £3.50, there’s no better night out in this city!Chris Dinwoodie is a multi-award winning comedian-magician and your headline act for the evening. Having performed for celebrities and royalty alike, he’s been crowned Scottish Magic Champion no less than five times, and made multiple TV and radio appearances, as well as sold-out Edinburgh Fringe and Glasgow Comedy Festival shows. He was accepted into The Magic Circle with one of the highest scores on record, but what sets Chris apart is his natural Glaswegian humour which makes him a tough act to follow.

Just want to watch? All are welcome free of charge, but please respect the show: during performances please be seated and don’t talk or heckle. We’d love it if you could arrive in time for the show starting at 7:30pm, but if you need to arrive late or leave early that’s fine too, but please do so as quietly as possible so you don’t interrupt the show.
Interested in performing? Sign-up for each show opens from Tuesday the week before, message our FB page and 5 minute slots will be allocated on a mainly first come, first serve basis. Attempts to sign-up at the wrong time or via the wrong channels will be ignored.
Doors to the bar open at 5pm, doors to the comedy room downstairs open at 7pm.
