𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭: 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘵 𝘌𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 is a celebration of the incredible skill and effort that the University of Manitoba’s School of Art students demonstrate in their art practice. This exhibition aims to increase visibility for emerging student printmakers by transporting their work from campus to downtown Winnipeg, transforming Martha Street Studio into a collection of student made work. With the intention of acknowledging the enthusiasm and vigor that the students dedicate to their craft, Campus goes Central strives to highlight voices that are typically restricted to exhibition at the university, merging two separate art scenes to expose each to what the other has to offer. With boundless energy and fresh ideas, this assortment of work demonstrates how the School of Art’s students are redefining printmaking on their own terms.
