Created in partnership with the award‑winning production company Neal Street Productions, the Call the Midwife Official Location Tour is the only one of its kind in the world. Although the show is set in London’s East End, many of its iconic exterior scenes are filmed at The Historic Dockyard Chatham in Kent.
Walk in the footsteps of Nurse Trixie Franklin, Sister Julienne, Dr Turner, and other beloved characters as you explore the authentic filming locations. Your tour will be led by your very own costumed Midwife, who will guide you through the Dockyard with a photograph book and behind‑the‑scenes stories of their “sisters.” You’ll then have the opportunity to explore sets, costumes, and props in the exclusive new gallery.
Along the way, you’ll discover how Neal Street Productions transform a 400‑year‑old dockyard into 1950s Poplar. You’ll recognise the cobbled streets and buildings featured throughout the series, including the Grosvenor Hotel and Chummy’s Hill, where Nurse Noakes famously learned to ride her bicycle.
The price for the full day, including return coach travel, is £85.00 per person.
