About this Event
Neuroscientist and designer Vedran Dzebic speaks on the intersections of Design, Creativity & Empathic AI in the context of the CONTACT core exhibition "Soft Errors, Hard Truths" by Frankfurt artist Lilly Lulay at the Goethe Space. Lulays show explores digital disruption and social fragmentation through photo-based mixed media, across photo collages, laser cut prints, video, installation, textile and embroidery work.
Vedran Dzebic is a cognitive neuroscientist and the Research Director at Entro, an experiential design firm, where he explores how neuroscience and emerging technologies can be used to create more empathic, human-centred environments. His work draws on behavioural science, AI, eye-tracking, and brainwave measurement to understand how people perceive, process, and emotionally respond to the built environment. Vedran has presented and been featured by the American Institute of Architects, the Toronto Society of Architects, the Environmental Design Research Association, Applied Arts magazine, and The Globe and Mail. He holds a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Waterloo.
