About this Event
. Families will explore partner yoga poses, thematic breathing exercises, creative movement, a special mindfulness practice, fun props, and time to rest and relax together. This class is for everyone - no prior yoga experience required.
We welcome participation in these classes in whatever way feels best for you and your family. Come as you are - in your pajamas, eating a snack, cuddling up with a blanket or with your family to watch the class (that’s yoga, too!). These classes are about connecting as a family, building community, and taking care of YOU. This means that alternative poses and movements are welcome, resting at any time is wonderful, and taking breaks as needed is encouraged. Lastly, don’t worry about joining late, leaving early, or taking a break at any point during the class.
What to bring:
- A yoga mat if you have one. If not, we’ve got you covered.
- Anything that will make the Family Yoga experience comfortable for you and your family, such as a small pillow to sit on, a cozy blanket for relaxation, a snack and water bottle, or quiet activity (toy or book) if your child needs a break from the class
