Director: WILL ARNOLD
Synopsis

Once hailed as the Black Mecca of America, Atlanta stands at a crossroads as rapid development and displacement reshape its cultural landscape. Guided by filmmaker Will Arnold, BUY-BYE ATLANTA traces the city’s transformation through the lived experiences of residents, activists, and cultural leaders determined to preserve its legacy.

Through compelling voices, including Grammy-winning artist Killer Mike and author-activist Kimberly Jones, the film examines the tension between progress and preservation. As stories of resilience, memory, and resistance unfold, the documentary becomes a powerful reflection on identity, belonging, and whether the soul of a city can survive the cost of its own success.
