🦋INTUITIVE PAINT DAY at the OSGOODE LEGION!We’ll paint big, bright, soulful butterflies and celebrate our creativity—perfect for a Mother’s Day outing or some self-care fun!
ABOUT THIS CLASS:
This isn't your typical Paint Night-style class. This beginner-friendly workshop is all about self-expression, creative exploration, and personal discovery.
With gentle guidance and a whole lot of self-love, we'll take time to turn inward as we enjoy 2.5 hours of introspective, free-spirited, intuitive art making!
We'll each create a large, vibrant butterfly on a 16" x 20" stretched canvas. The butterfly outline will be pre-traced so we can focus on exploring colour, pattern, texture, symbolism, and emotion using a variety of fun art materials.
WHAT TO EXPECT:

🎨Enjoy access to a variety of expressive art materials including acrylic paint, neon paint, markers, gel pens, glitter glue, stencils, and more.
⚠️Please note. This is NOT a step-by-step painting class. Rose will be painting at the front of the room while participants work on their own pieces. She'll offer occasional gentle prompts and reflections, but the focus will be on your own creative exploration rather than following instructions.
✨Handouts and inspiration images will also be provided to help spark your imagination.

*The outline of the butterfly will be pre-traced.
*All art materials are included, except for aprons. Please wear art-friendly clothes!
*While not necessary, you are welcome to bring your own inspiration imagery and quotes to help guide your creative process.
*Instruction is adult-focused. Teens 15+ yrs. are welcome to attend with a participating adult (ticket fee is per person).
*Ticket fee is for the painting activity only. Venue purchases like beverages and snacks are sold separately and will be available for purchase.
