Join us this spring in the Curiosa Common Room, where flowers speak in secret - and every petal carries a message waiting to be understood.Guided by the talented Shawna Horgan, in this hands-on workshop you’ll be introduced to the art of Floriography - the Victorian language of flowers - while learning to pipe hauntingly beautiful buttercream blooms onto cupcakes of your own.
Taking inspiration from our Enchanted Forest window, you’ll explore both technique and meaning, uncovering the stories behind three seasonal flowers and the sentiments they’ve carried through time
No experience is needed, only a steady hand, a sense of curiosity, and a willingness to lose yourself in the details.
All tools, materials, and ingredients will be provided. You’ll leave with a boxed set of six decorated cupcakes and a new understanding of how even the smallest blooms can speak volumes.
Please note: These cupcakes are not made in a nut free or an allergen free kitchen. Cupcakes will be vanilla. Buttercream icing and decorations may include cocoa, lemon, and mint.
Recommended for ages 15 and up due to the level of detail involved in the piping techniques.
