As part of Cannabis NYC’s 4th Annual Cannabis Empowerment Week, this session will provide practical guidance on how to protect your business, safeguard operations, and plan for emergencies.

This session will cover key topics including insurance, emergency action planning, evacuation protocols, and strategies to strengthen small business resilience during times of crisis. The SBS Business PREP Team will share practical insights to help business owners understand risk, prepare for disruptions, and navigate how SBS supports businesses before, during, and after emergencies.

The session will be led by the SBS Business PREP Team, with guest insights from Nichelle Santos, Founder and CEO of CannaCoverage and a national leader in cannabis risk management and insurance.
