Join Us for Building Common Seats!
The workshop introduces participants to basic carpentry skills by constructing lightweight modular seating with university students and garden volunteers. These seats will be donated to the garden for use and further development, supporting ongoing workshops and community engagement with local residents.
The project will use recycled and surplus materials donated by Berkeley Homes from nearby developments. Lunch and refreshments will be available throughout the day. Participants can take breaks and enjoy other activities in between. The skills taught and blueprints provided will be simple to reproduce outside the workshop setting.
