This illustrated talk explores the history of live music at Brunel University of London then known only as Brunel University, and examines the campus’s role in the UK touring circuit from the 1960s to the 1990s. Drawing on archival material and anecdotal accounts, it highlights live performances on campus by legendary artists including The Who, Fleetwood Mac, the Sex Pistols and many more. The talk will be presented by Dr Kate Lewis, Senior Lecturer in Music at Brunel University of London.
